Private Event - McAlister Ladies Clay Day
Join your gym gal pals for a clay day to decorate and design your own ceramic cup! Local ceramist, Anika Linder from Young Dove Ceramics will provide all the materials and instruction.

About the event
Set aside the barbells and pick up the underglaze and carving tools to create your custom cup! Local ceramist, Anika Linder from Young Dove Ceramics will provide all the materials and instruction. Cups will be previously hand thrown and in the “leather hard” stage, perfect painting and carving— a very satisfying and fun technique known as "sgraffito." Your pieces will take several days to dry and then fire and will be glazed and ready for pick up in early May!
We will have a few templates to choose from on hand, but if there is something specific you would like to put on your cup, please send the photo to hello@cayucosmakers before class, and we will make sure to have it printed out for you.
