Stained Glass (2 Day Workshop)

This project will take 2 days and be ready to take with you after creation. 

Part 1 - Friday, August 9th (5:30pm - 8pm) 

Part 2 - Saturday, August 10th (10am - 12:30pm)

Over the course of two days, you'll delve into the fundamentals of working with stained glass, from cutting and grinding to foiling and soldering. Guided by Melissa's expertise and passion for artistry, you'll explore the unique process of creating a stunning stained glass sand dollar.

Through personalized instruction and demonstrations, you'll gain confidence in handling glass and understanding its properties. Each participant will have the opportunity to select and cut their glass pieces, ensuring a personalized touch to their creation. As you assemble your sand dollar design, you'll witness the magic of light filtering through colorful glass, bringing your artwork to life.

By the end of the workshop, you'll depart with a unique stained glass sand dollar, ready to display and admire in your home or gift to a loved one. All materials and tools needed for crafting stained glass will be provided, including glass, cutting tools, and safety equipment.

No prior experience in stained glass art is required, making this class suitable for beginners and glass enthusiasts alike. Participants must be 16 years or older.
